How’s that @griproyal wheel? @thenickwatkins
friends don’t let friends buy grip royal
So… im more then a little comfused. This dudes steering wheel broke. Now everyone hates them? Because one dudes wheel broke? Really?
Nah, its because aftermarket steering wheels were cool because they were nice things. They were either racing wheels (Momo, Sparco, Vertex, etc) or luxury wheels (BBS, Nardi, Italovanti, etc) and they were nice, cool parts to have in your car because they had a purpose. Grip Royal wheels are literally made just so you can have an aftermarket wheel. Which is kind of lame. I’m not great at explaining things, but I hope I nailed the gist of it. Anyone else can feel free to expound on or retort to my comment.
even more confused bruh. People got them because they were cool. It’s not cool to get Grip Royal wheels because they are…. im assuming you are insinuating made cheaply. Which people who run them are obviously aware of.
On top of that I have never heard of anyone ever breaking a wheel before? I know that there are people that drift with them all the time and I personally know 5 people that have them in there cars. One of them is going on two years. I just think it’s a little extreme for a whole community to black ball a small business because there was an obvious incident with one of their products.
It is extreme because its all happened at once, seemingly. I never liked the idea since I first heard about them. Let me break it down like this, on top of already explaining why the concept was whack before. If people knew they weren’t as high quality as other products available, why would they spend a small amount (relatively) less for a less quality product when something better could be had for not much more? Why wouldn’t someone want the best parts they could get for their car?
I don’t want to control my car with a piece of flimsy shit
